There are images of the Tower of London on everything from towels to table mats but I thought this one was a little different.
I didn't realise until I was home and looking at the photos that you can also see the towering glass building 'The Shard' behind the Tower of London. The Shard is the tallest building in Europe since it opened in February this year. The public can go up to a viewing area and see spectacular views of London, but it costs £25! I doubt I will be seeing those views for that price.

Do I see some nosey security guard coming over to say you can't tanke photos because of security reasons.
ReplyDeleteThink you cptured that well I must say.
How did you manage to not get yourself in the reflections? While I like the Gherkin, I am not yet sure about the Shard in the London skyline.

ReplyDeleteYes, unique images of the Tower - and more - indeed. Like you, I wouldn't be paying that price - would rather put the money towards petrol to take me into the country! Thanks for sharing and happy weekend.
