The Olympics are fast approaching. The Queen's Jubilee bunting has been taken down and Olympic flags and bunting have taken their place.
I started my rehearsals today for the paralympic opening ceremony. It lasted 5 hours and I am on my knees I am so tired!
Wow! That came up fast, didn't it? I can hardly wait to hear how the opening ceremony works out. How fantastic to have ringside seats via your blog! :-)
ReplyDeleteThat must be such exciting times for you to be in the middle of such a historic event. In 1929 the Olympics were in Amsterdam and my father has talked about this his whole life. He even had made an album with articles from the newspapers about it.
ReplyDeleteWonderful pics of London. Excited about the olympics!
ReplyDeleteEven if you are tired, I'm sure you are THRILLED to be a part of all of this... Awesome!!!!! AND--I'm lucky since I'll get to see great photos from you!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs,

Great photos over the river. Not sure I'd be brave enough anymore to take the ride.
ReplyDeleteAll the photos you post are marvelous!!!
ReplyDeleteMy sister was up early last week to see the Olympic torch go through Colchester... in the rain! She was quite excited by it all, even though it went by in a flash. I envy you guys the chance to live through an event like this! :o)
