Welcome to my blog

This is it! I've given up work -retired from the rat race and am about to start on a 10 year adventure, doing all those things I've been meaning to do but never had the time to do them. I've offloaded my responsibilities and it is now my time. So follow my adventures and see whether I actually manage anything!

Xmas trees

Merry Christmas from London

From outside the Festival Hall on the Southbank of the Thames

The tree of light also on the Southbank. The messages on the tree are to remember a loved one.

From the Houses of Parliament

                       From Westminster Abbey

From outside 10 Downing Street
                                                                 From Trafalgar Square

                                              From Berkeley Square

                                                           From Covent Garden

Merry Christmas from outside the Shard

Finally Merry Christmas from outside Somerset House.
