Christmas in New Bond Street

This week I thought I would take you with me on a walk down New Bond Street in Central London and the surrounding streets. I hope it puts you all in a festive mood.

  4. Australia seems to be very lacking in the Christmas decoration area with nary an led light to be seen on public streets. Maybe part of the reason is it does not get dark here until 9 pm. You probably should have blacked out the number plate of your car for reasons of privacy.

  5. Err, I was too obtuse. It was a joke about it being your car but I see how it can be misread. Of course if it is your car, it is not a joke.

  13. Thanks for the Christmas decor walk. Such a lot of lovely!

Things are busy here with wedding plans just about all in place. We have some breathing room starting on Sunday when Sarah and William travel south to be with his family for Christmas and Emily, Matt & Annabelle spend Christmas with his folks also in GA (same as William's). They all return here the 26th and then we go into full wedding mode! Watching the forecast and hoping for good traveling weather for all the guests. Merry Christmas to you and yours. The first for your grand baby too!

  16. Oh my gosh, this was so much fun... I'd love to go window shopping there this time of year. (Window being the operative word here of course...). I'm really not much of a shopper anyway, even in stores I can afford, but I would absolutely love these windows. Your post is the next best thing to being there! Merry Christmas!

  22. Andrew sent me and I am so glad he did. Thank you so much. LOVE the peacock lights. There is some magic in these photos.

  23. Popped in via Andrew's site, it's so lovely! All glittery and Christmassy, not at all like Australia. I LOVE the swags all down Piccadilly Arcade and Tiffany's with a wreath in every window. Stella McCartney's window would be a hit with children.
