Dunham Massey

I am in Manchester visiting Mum and as the weather was beautiful today we went to Dunham Massey Park in Cheshire.

Mum really enjoyed the outing. She is 91 and is able to walk with the aid of a frame but enjoys being pushed around when we go for longer walks.
A pure white daffodil
A blue poppy
A moorhen with 2 baby chicks which looked about 1 day old.

  1. How sweet! Your mum looks like she's a lot of fun to be around. Lucky you to still have her with you.

The picture of the Meconopsis - blue poppy is lovely. Tried ot grow them here in Melbourne but oddly wasn't successful. I need to try again...

  6. Love that blue poppy - I am trying to grow one here - in Shropshire - my dad is 94 this year - but he is not very mobile and uses a frame and a scooter-
