A few weeks ago I took my daughter to see some of the places I have enjoyed during my Thames path walk. I chose to stay at the Swan at Streatley. I had admired it on one of my walks and was lucky to get a very reasonable offer of a weekend break.

We had a wonderful weekend there with restful walks along the river during the day and some delicious food and wine in the evening.
The word idyllic comes immediately to my mind.
