Autumnal fungi

There seems to be fungi everywhere at the moment. However I would have no idea whether they are edible or not.

  1. I wonder if my London B&B owner is out collecting in the park??? That is quite a variety and beautiful in a weird sort of way.

  2. You can eat a lot of mushrooms though if I'm picking them it would only be field ones like I used to pick as a youngster.

  3. I sure wouldn't want to sample any that I've seen in the woods lately. Although there are a few that the critters really seem to like, so they must be pretty good. :-)

  4. We have tons of fungi in our forests too. Some of them are really wacky looking. No, I wouldn't eat them either - I know next to nothing about wild mushrooms.

  5. No nice to see the fungies at this time of the year, you always see so many different ones.

  6. They LOOK good enough to eat, although of course I would not. Our grandson and his wife hunt for chanterelles and share...I feel safe with them because I trust the diggers and they say nothing else looks like them. So good.!
