  2. That looks funny all the lanterns. In Amsterdam they always have a lot of fireworks with the celebration.

  4. I've only celebrated Chinese New Year's once, a Vietnamese friend organised a big dinner party for the Year of the Pig (6 years ago?) and we all dressed in pink... lots of fun! :p
Definitely a lot more colourful than western New Year's celebrations... I'd love to find myself in an Oriental country one year for this!

  8. My hubby worked in China for awhile in 1991. He still hears from some of his Chinese students --especially during the Chinese New Year... So --it's the Year of the Snake, huh???? Yipes...

Hope you have a good weekend. We finally got some SNOW this morning... Yeah!!! BUT--it was 10 degrees when I got up early today...

    Hugs,
    Betsy
