Sandy Hook school, Newtown

You send your children to school in the morning and they never come home. My heart aches for all those families suffering the loss of their children. This is 'Our World Tuesday'

  1. Your photo was well chosen. The lives of the parents are shattered. Such happenings seem ever more shocking even as people are becoming desensitized to violent images seen daily. I can only hope this will be the turning point in a right direction towards more peace loving and prevention minded societies.

  2. I too am brokenhearted over this. Right at Christmas, and never in my life could I have imagined that I would be sitting here crying like this. Sending you cyber hugs along with prayers to those affected.

  3. Mine, too... we all need counselling after seeing the photos shown on tv, but I can't begin to imagine how the families are doing. God bless them all...

  5. It is almost unbelievable that anyone could kill innocent children. Mental instability and guns just don't go together. Something needs to be done about both issues. It is incomprehensible what the parents and loved ones are going through.

  6. There are indeed certain things only light can do. And yes, thoughts keep one sleepless, while looking at my son being in his bed.

  7. I agree with you it's more then horrible ! America badly needs to change their gun laws !! We had once here such a crazy guy who killed 2 babies and an employee in a daycare ! Fortunately he only had a knife, imagine what would have happened if he had had a gun !
