Lots of Christmas markets seem to be springing up in different parts of the city. This one is on the Southbank. There doesn't seem to be many selling interesting craft items only food or drink.
But then I found this lovely stall selling wreaths and decorations made from organic materials. The smells were wonderful.

Time passes so fast, 2012 coming to an end soon. I would love to shop here.
ReplyDeleteLovely!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Christmas markets! It's one of the things I miss most about when I lived in Belgium, particularly this time of year! We had a few ok ones in Belgium, but some fabulous ones just across the border in Germany! I think I've been to the Aachen Christmas market about 6 times... at least! :p
If you'd like to see them, I wrote a series of posts last year about the Christmas markets I'd seen in Belgium and Germany! Here's the link:
Christmas Markets
I always enjoy strolling around markets.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like my sort of stall with all those lovely wreaths .... are you enjoying a brush of snow on the landscape?
ReplyDeleteHi I am new here, read your headings and profile and am so envious with you! How i wish when i retire i also have the means to only do what i wanted to do. But working in a country like ours is different from working in your countries, so we are not very privileged. But i have also some share of travelling abroad from official trips, oh how i enjoy travelling most specially the temperate ones. I will be back here and read your old posts. thanks.
ReplyDeleteBear With Me...busy and festive♫
ReplyDeletelove the organic stall.. this is what I would be drawn to as well.
ReplyDeleteThat's one thing I love about Christmas - the smell of cinnamon, nutmeg, trees, and good food:)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the comment you left about your brother's ashes being scattered at Pearl Harbor, I'm so glad you shared this story and also that he got his wishes! God bless him & your family! =)
ReplyDeleteThose wreaths look lovely. I like all things natural and organic when it comes to such things.
ReplyDeleteI love Christmas markets. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWow! I would LOVE to visit your Christmas fair. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteWonderful shots! My entry.
ReplyDeleteNothing puts you more in a festive mood than Christmas markets! Unfortunately, here in California Christmas markets=malls! Ugh! Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy the week.
ReplyDeleteI do like these decorations. I went to the market at La Defense last week and it was just junk-I thought the markets on the Champs was much better-maybe it helped that the mood was more festive. Have you ever been to the ones in the Alsace region-they were really charming.
