Welcome to my blog

This is it! I've given up work -retired from the rat race and am about to start on a 10 year adventure, doing all those things I've been meaning to do but never had the time to do them. I've offloaded my responsibilities and it is now my time. So follow my adventures and see whether I actually manage anything!

  2. I've sat by one for twenty minutes trying to get a good shot of a clump in the sun. Never got one decent shot. I don't have that gene. (uh, patience, I guess)

  5. Yeh, bubble makers, always a hit, I know I can't resist. The shot of the street with your Capitol building looks a lot like the downtown here.

  8. Every now and then, I sit on the porch and create bubbles for my dog to chase. They still fascinate an old lady.

  16. Not me and not my kids that's for sure!

The rock art site has been painted and repainted for at least 40,000 years (!), although most of the images that can be seen today are less than 2000 years old.
