On Oxford Street again this week and couldn't resist having a look at Selfridge's new windows. Entitled Shakespeare Refashioned to mark 400 years since the Bard's death, quotes from different plays provided the inspiration for the designers. All the outfits were specially designed for the window displays and are on sale in the shop.

ReplyDeleteLove all the Shakespeare quotes in the store windows.
ReplyDeleteOh this was fun! I didn't realize before that I could view your pictures in slide show format; when I clicked on the first one to better read the quote I saw how to do it; it worked really well for window viewing! I think my favorite interpretation is the Othello 'sorrow's heavenly' one ... but if I looked again tomorow it might be different!
ReplyDeleteThey made a lot of work of the shopwindows. love it.
