This blog records my wanderings, achievements and disasters since retiring in 2011.
What beautiful river scenes. And it looks like you borrowed some of our blue skies - perfect London weather!
Ah it looks so beautiful; you know we'd love to see this festival. At first I thought the boat in the first picture had the same name as the made-up name of the village in the Doc Martin series (one of my favorites; wish they'd make more)... I think that town is "Port Wyn" .
It looks like a perfect day. How nice weather can lift the spirits and make a festival like this very popular with many happy people around.
Wow, I just checked where you were and it is so close to Tower Bridge and who would know it is there.
Very festive and regal - I heard on our News that you are having a real heat wave - enjoy!!
I love this place
You had a great day there, bet it does not look like that now with all the rain we had last night
Very nice boats to watch there. That Queens rowboat is a real beauty.
It looks like the perfect weather to be on the water and enjoying the festival.
cool display and cool reflections of the fancy gold boats!
What fabulous series of reflections! Good for you that you had such a lovely day.Yoko
I think everyone loves this kind of reflections :)
That must have been very nice ! (Another thing I missed, lol)
Love the Queen's row boat!
What a feast for the camera. The name Portwey reminds me of the series Doc. Martin.
beautiful scenes. I love the docs and vistit them every time I'm staying in London.
How beautiful boats and their details. And I like a lot the reflections.
Hello, pretty views of the boats and reflections. Beautiful collection of photos. Have a happy new week!
