Walking through Trafalgar Square the other evening I heard a very familiar Beatles classic.
It was the cast of the show ' Let it be' which has just returned to the West End and they decided to publicise it with a free concert
Quite a crowd gathered very quickly.
Everyone enjoyed the feel good factor of the music.

Hmmm...Catrina and I are trying to decide on a show to see in September. Maybe we should think about this one!
ReplyDeleteWhisper words of wisdom . . . :-)
ReplyDeleteTalk about being at the right place at the right time!
ReplyDeleteWow! That's so neat that you just happened to be there to capture this. You do live right in the middle of it all... how cool is that? :-)
ReplyDeleteFantastic my favourite music. And in the background there is a nice blue rooster. I saw it In June while I was visiting London.
ReplyDeleteNot my favourite music, but is there any group ever that drags so many generations together?
ReplyDeleteWhat fun but look at all those phones!
ReplyDeleteOf course this must happen when I am NOT in London, lol !
ReplyDeleteHi Marie, That's definitely a good way to make people smile... Music will do it every single time... We all need MORE music in our lives.

Betsy
A fantastic way to advertise the play and gosh doesn't that look just like the fab 4 on top of the bus. Wonderful!!
ReplyDeleteA great way to publicise "Let it Be" and I'm sure it brightened up your day.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun - I love the Beatles and have all of their recordings.
ReplyDeleteHow festive! Love that bus.
ReplyDeleteI have an ear-worm now, but I'm not unhappy about that, b/c I love the song. This is a great example of why big cities are wonderful.
