Welcome to my blog

This is it! I've given up work -retired from the rat race and am about to start on a 10 year adventure, doing all those things I've been meaning to do but never had the time to do them. I've offloaded my responsibilities and it is now my time. So follow my adventures and see whether I actually manage anything!

Impromptu concert

Walking through Trafalgar Square the other evening I heard a very familiar Beatles classic.

It was the cast of the show ' Let it be' which has just returned to the West End and they decided to publicise it with a free concert

Quite a crowd gathered very quickly.

Everyone enjoyed the feel good factor of the music.

  4. Wow! That's so neat that you just happened to be there to capture this. You do live right in the middle of it all... how cool is that? :-)

  5. Fantastic my favourite music. And in the background there is a nice blue rooster. I saw it In June while I was visiting London.

  6. Not my favourite music, but is there any group ever that drags so many generations together?

  8. Hi Marie, That's definitely a good way to make people smile... Music will do it every single time... We all need MORE music in our lives.

  13. I have an ear-worm now, but I'm not unhappy about that, b/c I love the song. This is a great example of why big cities are wonderful.
