Garden joy

With the easing of restrictions I decided to move back home yesterday to spend the evenings and nights there but returning to my daughter's house during the day to continue with the home schooling etc
I have been back a couple of times to do some gardening but it was only ever for a short time. I was delighted to see the poppy in full flower. A lot of weeding to be done but I will have to tackle that when my energy levels are sufficiently high enough.

  2. Good to hear things are on the up. Hopefully it will continue up and you can get back to gardening. Love the poppies, very unusual colour.

  3. White-petal poppies are unusual in my neck-of-the-woods. Nice to have two places now to broaden your world. You're an indispensable very good mum!

    1. Me too. The red poppies we see on all war memorials are more striking, but your white poppies are softer.

  4. Glad you could get back to your own home. Lovely poppies - not the usual red.

  5. Ooh, does that mean our energy levels will eventually come back? Mine are on a staycation somewhere. Homeschooling is more important than weeding and your poppies and grands are thriving.

  9. Welcome home! I bet it feels great. I don’t think I’ve seen white poppies before, only the red-orange ones. They are very pretty.

  10. You sound like you have been busy with family. I need to repot my plants but my energy levels and motivation are low.

  11. I don't think I've ever seen white poppies. I've had red and orange in my garden......must look in the nursery some time to see if they have the white ones. Do they show up at night?

  12. The whole world complains about energy lack ! Me included, I have to force myself to do something with the move but all others say the same and in all news of the world ! Being locked in for such a long time eats up our energy apparently !

  13. This sounds super hard Marie ... running between two homes and doing so much at both. Still, you are way younger than I am and in way better shape and I know you can do it. Best wishes to all.
