Welcome to my blog

This is it! I've given up work -retired from the rat race and am about to start on a 10 year adventure, doing all those things I've been meaning to do but never had the time to do them. I've offloaded my responsibilities and it is now my time. So follow my adventures and see whether I actually manage anything!

Hoxton Street Art

This last weekend I happened to be Hackney which is in the East End of London. I was quite taken aback by the street art I encountered.

  2. I think Hackney might be on the cusp of gentrification, if it is not already.

  3. That is a lot of street art at one area, and there are some very beautiful ones, it is really art and not that terrible graffitti.

  7. What fun street art. The first one is a little disturbing, though, when you look carefully. My favorite is the trompe l'oiel one with the smoke coming from the chimney.

  14. How timely!! I saw on TV that there is a big museum exhibit currently in NYC on Graffiti'. I happen to like it, especially that which makes me smile. So thanks for your posting. [I have several Wall Art posts on my site.]
