This blog records my wanderings, achievements and disasters since retiring in 2011.
Congrats to the GB team on their wins. I am always happy to see any of the athletes win, they all work so hard at even being in the Olympics.
Congrats on the medals and the organisation. I have enjoyed watching. London must look wonderful at this time.
Festive atmosphere! Lovely captures!
I have to say that I have enjoyed the last couple of weeks - and some of the people around me have enjoyed it a little less than they thought they were going to! I also feel the need to point out that only a small fraction of my pictures are taken in public facilities! Cheers (and well done Team GB!) Stewart M - Australia
It seems sort of sad when it all ends!
Oh, I love that carousel picture. It's so pretty and brings up all kinds of emotions.
Bravo! And beautiful shots of it all!I'm watching the Closing Ceremony (and chatting about it with several friends via comments on our respective Facebook statuses), and as they've been talking about the volunteers and the WONDEFUL job done by all, I was reminded of you! Such luck to have been able to participate in this... probably exhausting but rewarding! And THANK YOU for giving us a different view of the Olympic Games! :o)
Nice pictures, it looks wonderful with all the lights.
Beautiful, I love the carouser shot!
Aah, I love carousels too!Londodn must have been very exciting and trafficy the last weeks! Especially with all the people who are used to drive on the right side of the road:)
Lovely photos. I'm afraid I don't often brave the crowds though I might have for the Vancouver Winter Olympics if I had been home ;-)
Fun event to watch, I wouldn't mind the crowd, and I agree - Team GB has done great. Oh, I miss London.
Thank-you for reading my blog. I would love to read your comments.
