We travelled by boat across Lake Garda to visit the small town of Limone.
Beautiful narrow streets
The lemon museum which told you about the growing of lemons in the area and had numerous citrus trees on show.
It was very busy there and so hot. We found a table in the shade overlooking the lake and feasted on salad and pizza before taking the ferry back across the water.
A lemon museum is a great idea.
ReplyDeleteIsn't that a cute little town ? They can't expend due to the mountains, so the villages don't change at all ! It was Mussolini who had built the street around the lake and made the tunnels in the mountains, before you could only reach the villages by boat ! At least he did something good.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely place. The town is very attractive and the view while you were relaxing afterwards is quite spectacular. :)
