Perfect place for the wind gliders to take off. Not sure if that's the right name for them. They ran down the hill and then jumped off the Ledge.
They have a seat to wriggle onto once they are airborne.
You can even take an alpaca for a walk!
This blog records my wanderings, achievements and disasters since retiring in 2011.
What lovely experiences - watching the paragliders and walking an alpaca. I't's breathtaking to be up so high.
ReplyDeleteThe good old Monte Baldo, we have been up there so many times and have seen tourists in little T-shirts going up and didn't expect the cold temperatures and sometimes snow up there ! Alpacas are new ! Good idea !
ReplyDeleteSleek Alpaca shot in the wilderness
ReplyDeleteI love the mist hanging around in places. It all looks quite idyllic.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful looking place. We plan to have our first trip to Italy next year.

Beautiful scenery . Those paragliders are so brave.
ReplyDeleteI once stood on the platform from which the paragliders take off - I'm trembling now just thinking about it! Cable cars are fun though.
ReplyDeleteAustralian businessmen brought alpacas from South America to be bred for their fine silken fleece. Made perfect sense to me.
ReplyDeleteSo now I wonder why Italians imported alpacas to the Lake Garda region.
We saw lots of those paragliders in Switzerland. Many of them were tandem with an experienced person and novice.
