Moth

Spotted this moth on a window.  It is the Buff-tip moth (had to look it up). I've  never seen one before and never likely to if it stays on its favourite branch of a silver birch tree.

  1. Lovely capture. Moths are so interesting, mainly because we seem so rarely to see them, even the day-flying ones. He would be difficult to spot on a silver birch branch - his camouflage is excellent.

  6. Your photo is very precise and nice, but the object is "yikes" Fortunately I have Rosie who takes care of all insects and plays and eats them with pleasure !
