Spotted this moth on a window. It is the Buff-tip moth (had to look it up). I've never seen one before and never likely to if it stays on its favourite branch of a silver birch tree.
Lovely capture. Moths are so interesting, mainly because we seem so rarely to see them, even the day-flying ones. He would be difficult to spot on a silver birch branch - his camouflage is excellent.
Your photo is very precise and nice, but the object is "yikes" Fortunately I have Rosie who takes care of all insects and plays and eats them with pleasure !
