Trapeze in the park

Walking through Kensington gardens I came across this trapeze school. Has anyone tried this?

It was fun to watch and maybe, just maybe, a few years ago I might have been tempted!

  1. I am perfectly happy to watch other brave people try; and hopefully there is a trampoline below in case people fall. But I was never a risk-taker, even in teen years.

  3. Yes it would have been fun when younger. I see you've upgraded the title of your blog. You've been going for a while now.

  4. Yikes! Not me ... but I admire the athletic adventurous souls who are tempted and try it.

  5. It seems a bit like a flying fox. A tick for us three years ago in South Africa. Just a few years ago you may have tried it???

  7. Is there a safety net? If so, I would have tried it, even though I'm old. You only live once! :-)

  11. The closest I have been to any circus stuff is a trampoline. However doing the somersault and seeing the trampoline come up when you are only halfway through... I also tried tightrope walking once. About two inches above the ground and I never even got one step in before dropping off. I will leave it to the pros!

  15. Nothing for me !! I get already dizzy on the third floor ! I couldn't go to the top of the Eiffel tower because it was open, now they closed it with glass too many suicides.

  16. Watching trapeze makes me really dizzy. I remember seeing a trapeze performance in which they switched of the lights in between. That was really crazy.

  18. I've not come across a trapeze school before.
Although not for me, I am sure there are many that would enjoy giving this a try.

    All the best Jan
