Another delightful walk around Greenwich Park this week.
Some storm damage from the previous week.
These photos were taken in the enclosed flower garden. No ball games, cycling or dogs off the lead are allowed in this part of the park. Consequently it is much quieter.
It certainly is busy on that path. The ground looks a bit frosty in places.
ReplyDeleteLooks pretty, but very busy indeed.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed seeing your photographs, but yes, it does look busy.
ReplyDeleteI have recently enjoyed some local walks and often find that it is less busy later on in the day.
Happy February Wishes.
All the best Jan
The virus has brought everyone outdoors - our local parks are crowded too.
ReplyDeleteI remember how uncomfortable we felt in MD walking on the pathways near our apartment. Too many other walkers, joggers, and cyclists. I see that problem for you too at Greenwich.
ReplyDeleteHere some of the parkways have been closed to vehicle traffic to allow for more room for walkers. That'll probably be the case for the coming months.
ReplyDeleteStorm damage in beautiful Greenwich Park should have been prevented, had the trees in the public space been assessed and sorted each year. Hopefully no-one was injured.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shots of the beautiful park ~ be safe ~ be well

aka (A Creative Harbor)
The looks like a wasp nest in the tree. You could move from London but then it can be crowded there as well
ReplyDeleteEveryone wants to get out — and outdoors is the only safe place to do it. I hope you are able to find some walking space with fewer people. Must have been quite a storm to take out that big branch.
ReplyDeleteYes it does look crowded. Same here in the park and the forest by the lake is still sooo muddy.
ReplyDeleteEverybody wants to go out the house for a moment, the only joy we have....
ReplyDeleteAre people pretty good about not taking their animals there or are there dog parks around?
ReplyDeleteI did a walk in our local area today and it was heaving with people all with the same idea. At times I felt as if I was walking in a queue.
ReplyDeleteParks are a welcoming place to get some fresh air if only the weather would be better.
ReplyDeleteYes … it’s nice to know people are venturing outdoors and enjoying some fresh air. However, as paths get more crowded, the road less traveled is where I, too, will go.
ReplyDeleteUhoh, the unmasked masses have caught on to your secret beautiful place. Bummer. (This is why we’re not n Florida this year. Too hard to find quiet places there.)
