I am in Bratislava, Slovakia, this weekend to have a look at its Christmas markets as well as its main tourist attractions. Unfortunately it hasn't stopped raining since I got here and the forecast is much the same for tomorrow with the possibility of snow.
The Christmas markets are mainly food and drink. The smell of the food as you walk around the market stalls is mouth watering.
Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteWonderful atmosphere
ReplyDeleteWe had a stop there on our Danube cruise in 2016. We toured the castle/museum. The staff was very stingy with turning on the lights! No snow there to enjoy?
ReplyDeleteLooks like alot of fun, can't imagine having snow here at Christmas.
ReplyDeleteApart from the rain, did you find that many locals enjoy buying stuff in the open markets? What about at night?
ReplyDeleteThe trees look lovely all lit up :)
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
