Looking towards a stationary London Eye.
A view in the opposite direction shows Buckingham Palace.
The Mall with the flags of the RAF flying as well as the Union Jack. The flags commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Britain.

Lovely! There is something so colourfully spontaneous, natural and lush about an English garden. Like in my part of the world, I think it could be the rain. :)
ReplyDeleteI feel like I have revisited summer last year. Great memories.
ReplyDeleteI'd planned a London trip in July and of course, didn't get there. If there wasn't a little thing like travel restrictions this would be the time to be there. So enjoyed your pictures.
ReplyDeleteWonderful! Love the varied pictures, and being along with you on your venture. :-)
ReplyDeleteTwo great views, one towards London Eye and one to Buckingham Palace over the lake and trees. Perfect!
ReplyDeleteThe cities look so strange now without all the people around, the same here. But good for making photos.
ReplyDeleteIt must feel very strange to be in London with so few people and so little activity.
ReplyDeleteThis was supposed to be my year to visit London again so I'm missing my favorite city very much. It's hard to believe there are not Horse Guards and The London Eye is halted. However, I've enjoyed your photos very much. The flowers are beautiful and just seeing the sites around town are great.
ReplyDeleteNearly a private park. You must have felt like Royalty! ...it looks perfect in Autumn.
ReplyDeleteWow - magnificent!
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are beautiful, but the streets look rather empty ! Here it's the same, the tourists stay home and only a few Belgians are there, it all looks so sad ! I prefer to go in a park where it doesn't bother me to be alone ! I think we all have enough of this never ending virus !!
ReplyDeleteThe park is very pretty. Not many people about. Is that because they are staying home or because you avoided them in the photos?
ReplyDeleteIt seems so strange not to see many people about, but obviously quite understandable with Covid 19 still around.
ReplyDeleteLovely series of photographs.
All the best Jan
Such gorgeous flowers in St James garden! It does look very quiet and deserted there. A good thing I guess in this time of rising cases of virus.
ReplyDeleteNo crowds of tourists in London? Perhaps to many who live there, every cloud has a silver lining?
