This is a series of work by artist, Linda Kitson. She wanted to record images of the City of London showing the juxtaposition of the old and the new as well as those under construction. Many of the sights she has drawn will not be seen again after 2018. All of her drawings were done using an i-Pad.

ReplyDeleteShe did those on an I-PAD? Oh my gosh, I know my electronics are all under-used, but honestly I had no idea something like this could be done! Wow, they are wonderful and great to have the records before the changes .

ReplyDeleteVery good though there is nothing special in painting on an Ipad, my sone goes to art collage and can do it on his PC if need be. Nice to see some one took the effort to record something that way at least she can erase a problem on the Ipad andd redo it, not so easy is you are useing real paint

ReplyDeleteInteresting. I would say she achieved her goal of showing the juxtaposition of old and new, but the pieces seem mathematical and mechanical, pretty but emotionless. Anyway, Paul and I had fun discussing our reaction and enjoyed your tour.
ReplyDeleteiPad Art, huh???? How crazy... How interesting..... Wow... Sometimes I feel like I am quickly get left FAR behind --when it comes to technology!!!!! In order to hear from and chat with my kids, I now know how to SnapChat online... ha ha ha....
