This is a series of work by artist, Linda Kitson. She wanted to record images of the City of London showing the juxtaposition of the old and the new as well as those under construction. Many of the sights she has drawn will not be seen again after 2018. All of her drawings were done using an i-Pad.

Oh I see the possibilities!
ReplyDeleteHer work is quite bright and vivid.
ReplyDeleteThat's a bit different and it looks like a lot of work went into the creation of the works.
ReplyDeleteVery vivid. Where are they displayed?
ReplyDeleteShe did those on an I-PAD? Oh my gosh, I know my electronics are all under-used, but honestly I had no idea something like this could be done! Wow, they are wonderful and great to have the records before the changes .
ReplyDeleteI like the art and the vibrant colors.
ReplyDeleteWow, very psychedelic :)
ReplyDeleteI love them. iPad art what next??
ReplyDeleteVery good though there is nothing special in painting on an Ipad, my sone goes to art collage and can do it on his PC if need be. Nice to see some one took the effort to record something that way at least she can erase a problem on the Ipad andd redo it, not so easy is you are useing real paint
ReplyDeleteA coulorful series, I-pad art, always something new to explore. :)
ReplyDeleteInteresting. I would say she achieved her goal of showing the juxtaposition of old and new, but the pieces seem mathematical and mechanical, pretty but emotionless. Anyway, Paul and I had fun discussing our reaction and enjoyed your tour.
ReplyDeleteiPad Art, huh???? How crazy... How interesting..... Wow... Sometimes I feel like I am quickly get left FAR behind --when it comes to technology!!!!! In order to hear from and chat with my kids, I now know how to SnapChat online... ha ha ha....

ReplyDeleteOh dear. Some people are so artistic and inventive that they put us mere mortals to shame. Super photography.
ReplyDeleteDang, that is impressive even without the bit about the iPad. Maybe I should hold on to mine, lol. I adore the color and her sensibility. Love these.
ReplyDeleteLovely and creative works ~ very vibrant and colorful!

Love the bright, bold colours!
ReplyDeleteThese are amazing!
ReplyDeleteI wonder how she did that on an Ipad ! I have a drawing pad, but it's quite difficult. Honestly her work is not my cup of tea.
ReplyDeleteI am not sure I could do that!
