I started this week's walk from the medieval manor of Ightham Mote in Kent.
It was a beautiful day for a walk.
Yes I was tempted but didn't.
There were reflections everywhere.
Lots of primroses in flower today
The walk ended back at the manor house which has a lovely cafe!
Enjoyed your lovely walk and photos. Too bad I could not join you at the cafe.
ReplyDeleteA lovely walk! The architecture of the manor is quite appealing.
ReplyDeleteWhat a curious building wearing four hats in the distant photo.
ReplyDeleteOff topic, but I just read an account of someone walking the Circle Line, station to station. His intention was to do it in one try, but he became tired and left off and went back to finish the walk another day. I immediately thought of someone I know who could make the 15 mile walk easily.
ReplyDeleteThat looks nice, practising for the great walk?
ReplyDeleteGreat that you shared your walk, especially for those of us suffering from bad weather today!
ReplyDeleteYou didn't? You should have! :-). Don't you love a walk that ends at a cafe? I do!
ReplyDeleteLovely place for weekend getaway!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, both the classic old buildings and the woods, all with those wonderful reflections.
ReplyDeleteA nice walk with good views.
ReplyDeleteIt is a lovely day, relatively, for a walk here in Minnesota too.
ReplyDeleteNice post - so much of this post is familiar, even if I have never been there - generally Somersetish kind of feel.

A beautiful walk ... and that is definitely one of our favorite kinds of places to end a good walk. I thought it had been snowy and cold over there -- but this post looks like Spring. And I am glad for that.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, I love the primroses!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful walk !
ReplyDeleteA lovely place for a walk but I wonder if buildings with moats have issues with damp and moulds.
ReplyDeleteAlways good to end a walk near a decent cafe.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely walk. I love also the reflection of lovely building.
