Lest we forget


Today is Remembrance Day and at the eleventh hour of the eleventh month people were gathering in Trafalgar Square  to observe two minutes silence.

  7. We were at Peterborough's war memorial yesterday. To stand with 100's of others in total silence thinking about those who have given their lives is very humbling. Take care xx

  11. In my local town centre on Saturday I saw 15/20 young teenagers selling poppies. Their parents should be very proud of them.

  12. Except the fact that it was a day off I haven't seen anything special going on here. Maybe in Brussels. You have now Google+ ? Fortunately I could comment here, because some have Google + without link to their blog and I can never comment because I don't like it, it's just like a bad copy of Facebook. Or is there anything interesting with Google+ ?
