This was a much larger spider than I usually see in the garden. As soon as the wasp got entangled in the web the spider pounced and carried it away.
Have been away (yes again!) and did not have internet access or even phone reception so will try and catch up with everyone soon. This time I was by the sea on the Northumberland coast, it was stunningly beautiful. At some point I will posts some of the photos.

Oooh, a spider! And a good reason for not being around lately. Not a big thing, we all have lives separate from our computers, right? I look forward to seeing the pictures one day soon. :-)

ReplyDeleteThis is the time of year when one often walks into spider webs swinging from leaf to leaf everywhere. Wonder if it took notice of the chalk art activities on the pavement below. :)
