Although Kew Gardens is the other side of London and took a bus, two trains and a tube journey to get there, it was worth the effort. On a glorious sunny day I had a great time enjoying the greenery, plants and flowers.
I couldn't stop taking photos

Far too many photos but I couldn't resist sharing them with you.
I agree, it was really worthwhile to take a bus, two trains and a tube journey ! It's a beautiful place and all these flowers ! I still have a post to do about a castle which each year is open to the public and has wonderful flowers, but the most important once are tulips, it's huge and the flowerbeds are great ! I love "my" park here, it's strange I always loved to travel, but now, when I go out to a friend or to visit something, I am in a hurry to go back into my cozy home ! Btw are you happy now in your house, I think we should once talk to each other !
ReplyDeleteKew is glorious and you took some wonderful photographs.
ReplyDeleteThe blossoms are plentiful and beautiful
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, at its spring peak, it appears. The rhodies are magnificent.
ReplyDeleteWonderful array of beauties! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteSummer is very colourful in your part of the world, i'm liking the Rhododendrons.
ReplyDeleteThe best part of Kew Gardens is its close proximity to the centre of London, and its short distance from the nearest railway station. I wish all large cities had allocated open greenery centuries ago!
ReplyDeleteIt really does seem that spring has sprung. I was in the UK in April and the weather was remarkable. I'm not 100% convinced this is a good thing.
ReplyDeleteHope all is well.
Cheers - Stewart M - just back in Melbourne!
