It's that time of the year when we have the beautiful blue haze covering the ground. Here's a few photos of my favourite woodland walk amongst the bluebells.
Wow that's a lot of bluebells. The ones near our new house are nowhere near as impressive. Haven't managed to get back to Wanstead Park where they have a big spread too.
That is a lovely dusting of mauve bluebells. They are slender and tallish flowers and incredibly remain unharmed it seems on grassy knolls where people walk all over them. :)

ReplyDeleteBluebell admiration seems to be growing there. Maybe it will become like cherry blossoms in Japan.

ReplyDeleteWe have the "bois de Hal" here which is veery famous for it's bluebell covered wood ! It looks so pretty !
