Two weeks into our second lockdown and it is sometimes easier than the last one and sometimes more difficult. One difference this time is that we are allowed to go walking with one other person as long as you are outside and social distancing. In my local park is this outdoor table tennis table where I meet up with one friend and we play a few games together. Trying to play when it is windy is almost impossible but if gives us a laugh. Desperate times call for desperate actions!

Lockdown#2

I have seen those but I have never played it since I was akid
ReplyDeleteNice that you are able to enjoy an activity with a friend. And it looks like you have some nice sunny weather. My sister, my dad, and I used to play some fierce games of table tennis but I haven’t played for years.
ReplyDeleteI've never played that.
ReplyDeleteI am hopeless even if there is no wind. I've missed your travel tales this year, I am sure as much as you have missed your travel.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like it would be fun. I've never played the game, wind or no wind.
ReplyDeleteTable tennis or ping pong as we used to call it would be fun to play in a park. Haven't seen any around here though.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteThe table tennis is fun, it is great to be outside and with company. Take care, enjoy your weekend!
What fun, I guess part of lockdown is discovering the things we use to do.
ReplyDeleteWell that looks like fun. Wish we still had our tennis racquets...there is a tennis court in a nearby park.
ReplyDeleteIt must be good to get outside for a while and especially to see a friend. Hopefully it will stop the transmission.
ReplyDeleteYou are so right ! We are also allowed to go where we want, with one person but it's too cold and humid so we meet again each other to empty our hearts about this situation ! What a boring life !
ReplyDeleteHurray for you and your friend!! My husband loved/obsessed table tennis 3 decades ago. Back when our knees were okay.
ReplyDeleteThat was a good find. I'm surprised that there wasn't a queue to play ping pong. Or did you play table tennis?
ReplyDeleteIt's always good to enjoy time outside.
ReplyDeleteStay safe and well.
All the best Jan
What a clever way to exercise outdoors, stay sharp, socialize and social distance at the same time!
ReplyDeleteLife these days is like playing table tennis outdoors!
ReplyDeleteRe your comment on my post - We need indoor facilities for cricket as we have 3 months of monsoons when it's just not possible to play cricket outdoors. 😊
I would enjoy that even without Covid. Those actually sound like sensible rules and Im pretty sure if we had had better National leadership our numbers would be down, but we didn’t and we aren’t ... It’s gonna take us a lot longer .
ReplyDeleteI love the comment by magiceye: life these days is like playing table tennis outdoors! Very fitting and right.
ReplyDeleteI still walk, but on my own as nobody else has the time or the inclination to come along.
