ReplyDeleteThere is certainly an eastern influence to the architecture. I was quite enjoying the blue sky until you pointed out the covered fountains.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely old town with such beauty everywhere and you captured it so well ~
ReplyDeleteWishing you a Happy and Healthy New Year ~ ^_^
What an interesting place. I guess that lock bridges are a worldwide thing now.
ReplyDeleteWhat a place! I thought that love locks were a thing of the past. What an amazing set of pictures. Thank you for sharing them. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tour! What a lovely old town. And I laughed at the "cover" for the water fountain.
ReplyDeleteIt looks an interesting city with its buildings , bridges and statues. That is the good thing about living in UK you are so close to these lovely towns and countries. I wish we could do a weekend in Slovenia.
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely architecture! And I've never seen a cover for a fountain before...
ReplyDeleteAnd when covered, why not make it something pretty. Like a hat! Brilliant idea...
ReplyDeleteLove that place. I used to live in Yugoslavia for six months a long time ago. I never got to see much of the country then, so would love to go back to the new countries and see a bit more.
Very interesting ! Of course I don't remember anything except the market ! I have never been in the Easterner countries, it's about time to put them on my list !
ReplyDeleteIt looks beautiful. I still had images in my mind of destroyed cities during the war. Had no idea it all looks well.
ReplyDeletecool dragon :)
ReplyDeleteAlways interesting to see a new place. The doors on the cathedral are fascinating and I love the fountain "cozies". I think Minnesota needs some of those to add color to the winter.
ReplyDeleteSuch a unique mixture of architecture. Was it cold there?
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful town. Have a wonderful 2017!
ReplyDeleteLooks very interesting and a very unique looking fountain cover!
ReplyDeleteI love the Dragon Bridge

I have not been in Ljubljana yet but I'm obviously missing a lot. It looks gorgeous, both during the day and and in the dark with all the Christmas lights.
