Pink in Winter

During one of my walks in Kent with the U3A group we came across this delightful traveller's caravan. It looked in very good condition parked at the bottom of a large garden. I wonder if it is ever used.

Known as Spindle ( Euonymus europaeus), these beautiful bright pink berries made quite a statement against the bare branches.

  1. Lovely little caravan! And the pink in both pictures is quite cheerful.

  2. You are being nice calling them travelers most people call them something else. Nice photo of the caravan and flowers which I am still clueless about

  3. Your pinks are pretty today. That little caravan is so cute. Wonder who fixed it up like that --and what it is used for... Just precious.

  6. Surprisingly to me, my partners family in the north call them travellers. With no knowledge of connotations or niceties, I did not. There can't be too many traditional vans like that around now.

  9. I'm not usually a big fan of pink, but I love the caravan. It just "says" carefree and fun! And those spindle berries are gorgeous.

  10. Wonderful! Nice and bright. We seem to be having one day of rain and the next sunshine. Seems manageable especially with a splash of pink here and there!
