I agree with you,I spent the best Christmases of my life in London with my son and got to know a completely different way of celebrating! After that we always had a mixture of English/German Christmas. Queen Victoria and her Albert spread this throughout the world! Almost all of her children married nobles in all countries and brought the customs with them. I'm not feeling so well at the moment, unfortunately this chronic obstructive bronchopneupathie cannot be cured. That's what I have and is gotten worse since Rick's death.
I was hoping you would show us some Christmas street displays. I hope outer Londoners and those from home counties come in to see the decorations.
