Spring at last

We have had warm sunny days this week. It feels a long time since we last felt the sun on our backs. I went for a walk in the local woods and enjoyed seeing all the green buds on the trees. Spring has finally arrived. Had to use an old camera for these shots. I dropped my Lumix Panasonic camera in some mud last week and jammed the shutter. The cost of repair is almost as much as buying a new one, unfortunately, as I loved that camera. I will have to now buy the new version which is bigger and heavier but it does have wi-fi which should, in theory, make downloading quicker and easier.

Bluebells just beginning to flower.

  2. I'm sure those signs of spring are most welcome at this late date. Things will probably happen very quickly and the season will be short -- and it will be summer before you know it.

  4. Lovely photos! I don't think I've used my big camera at all this year. I've become lazy and only use my smartphone camera. :-)

  5. Oh what a shame about the camera. Yes it's been lovely having warm days, we finally managed to get our grass cut but now it needs doing again lol.

  7. Sorry about your camera. I dropped my camera a couple of months ago and it cost me $300 to repair my lens (a $600 lens). ugh, but what do you do?

  8. Love those signs of spring. We are experiencing that here too but next week we head north to NH and probably back to cold weather.
I've never been able to get the wifi feature of my Canon to work. Good luck with that.

  10. Happy for Spring, sorry about the camera (although your pictures show the lovely green warmth beautifully) ..... I dropped my phone in the water on our boat trip, so yeah, I feel your pain. (Unrecoverable, but all my stuff was saved on cloud so not a permanent loss, but it's a new version so .....)

  15. That does look like spring - we had our first misty autumn evening here earlier in the week. I also noticed so information about unseasonably warm weather in the UK. Getting cameras fixed versus getting a new one is always a hard choice I think.

Sorry its taken me so long to visit, things have been pretty hectic here!
