96, what an accomplishment. You know it's coming but it doesn't make it any easier to say Goodbye. My mom's been gone 10 years now, but I still have dreams that we are having our regular Sunday afternoon phone calls to catch up on things. My condolences.
Oh, Marie I know how you are mourning. My mom would have been 99 this December. She left us at almost 95. I still think I want to give her a call and talk then remember and its been 4 years in September. My heart goes out to you and your family. She looks like she was a lovely happy woman. I know you are thankful for her long life.
I just saw this Marie. I am sorry for your loss. My mom was 97 when she died -- and even though I knew she was ready and had lived a full and long life it still was not easy and it still took time .... Take all that you need! Your mother was beautiful and looks so happy in that picture. Sending good thoughts for you across the ocean.
I never visit blogs as often as I'd like and have just spotted this. So sorry. She does have a lovely smile! I think we are lucky that some people share a bit of themselves with us; it's what makes life special. You never forget your mum and dad. All the best.
