The Cartoon Museum (London Museum #28)

I mentioned this Museum in my series Above the Underground. It is a small museum close to the British Museum and features original cartoons from the 1700s to the present day.

Here are a few that caught my attention.

  3. The one I like best is the two strutting peacocks. The peacock feathers/nuclear warheads - very clever. Some as an American I don't "get", such as the Pearly Boris one. I tried!

  4. What a neat museum... I've never seen or even heard of a Cartoon Museum --although I'll bet there some around. I'd love to visit that one --and others... I have such fond memories of watching cartoons as a child... Love them.

  9. I was expecting a bit of a different cartoon museum (more Asterix and Tin Tin). I love the one with the burglar, very funny.

  10. Fun that you could take pictures -- that Boris Johnson guy (hope I got the name right) really does look like horrible Donald over here (at least in the caricature versions). I don't know about the one but I sure hope the one here fades away soon.
