Sunrise in Lyme Bay

I was up early today to see the sun rise over Lyme Bay and my efforts were certainly rewarded.

The incoming tide is like liquid gold across the sand.

  4. A situation where you lift your head high and face the warmth of the rising sun and feel quite good about the world. The last photo is terrific.

  10. sure, you had a great morning. I love the reflections of the masts in the water. The last one reminded me of Honolulu. I did see water coming like this on the beach of Waikiki :)

  16. You certainly made the right choice in getting up early to be rewarded with that display! I'm writing this from the deck where the sky is just getting light and the hummingbirds are buzzing the feeders like little jets. I can't see them yet but I can hear them and feel the whir of their wings in the air.
